The Other Emily Coming Soon

Ah, November. The trees shed their leaves in a litter of colorful confetti. The air is crisp and bracing. Daylight savings time ends, and it’s heartening to know that our accounts at the Bank of Light are brimming with thousands of hours of daylight that we can use to extend our lives for many years.

It is that time of year when we celebrate life and give thanks for our friends, family, and good fortune. Although, of course, it is also that time of year that is a waking nightmare of horror and terror for turkeys; they can run, but they cannot hide from death, and in fact they can’t even run all that well. Winter is coming, which means that uncountable small animals will perish in the bitter cold. But we are not field mice or squirrels, which is yet another reason to celebrate.

In addition to this warm seasonal greeting that I’m sending your way, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that my new novel, Elsewhere, is available in hardcover, eBook, and audio. Likewise, the trade paperback of Devoted is now available, and my novel for March of next year, The Other Emily, can be preordered now. Like our tasty feathered friend, you cannot hide from me, and if you run, I will find you, which is not a threat but only a friendly reminder.

Warmest autumn wishes,
Dean
